What time is AP readiness?
AP Readiness sessions are scheduled monthly on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM (Educator only reflection meeting held from 1:00-1:30 pm).
Whats AP Readiness?
AP Readiness allows students to work with master instructors, who prepare them for the rigorous curriculum that they will face in AP courses. This unique program allows for students and teachers to learn together. Both teachers and students also become an essential part of a network of AP support and excellence.
What AP classes does UCR?
For Students Students can select from 11 AP Courses to attend – AP Biology, AP Calculus, AP Chemistry, AP Computer Science Principles, AP English Language, AP English Literature, AP Human Geography, AP Physics, AP Statistics, AP US History, and AP World History.
Are AP classes college readiness programs?
Yes. Students who choose to take at least one AP course between 9th and 11th grade earn higher ACT composite scores relative to their peers.

AP classes affect GPA as well — regular classes usually weight an A in a class as a 4.0. But many high schools and colleges give AP classes an additional point. So it’s possible to have a 5.0 GPA credit from an AP class. Or, a student could get a B in an AP class but still have a 4.0 GPA.
Does AP exam affect GPA?
AP scores won’t affect your high school GPA or your chances of college admission. Just remember that every school is different. Some won’t accept credit unless you score a 5.
